The Mediterranean fruit fly is one of the most important and dangerous pests of fruit trees, and under favorable conditions, it can breed all year round and cause great damage, especially to garden crops.

 

 

This pest is mostly scattered in Mazandaran, Gorgan, Gilan and Fars provinces and damages citrus trees. It also causes damage to other fruit trees in provinces such as Isfahan, Yazd, Khorasan, Kermanshah and Golestan. Therefore, it is necessary to take timely management measures to control it.
