Iranian citrus on the way to China's 600 million dollar market

Last year, Iran exported 8 million 502 thousand tons of agricultural products worth 5 billion 258 million dollars to other countries, of which 500 million dollars went to China.

In the current situation, according to the agreement reached on the two documents of cooperation between Iran and China and signed by Seyed Javad Sadati Nejad, Minister of Jihad Agriculture and Yujian Hua, Minister of Customs of China, it seems that this year the amount of export of products will also increase. Agriculture, especially citrus fruits, will face a significant increase in this country
The first document is related to the protocol of phytosanitary requirements for the export of fresh Iranian citrus fruits to China. With the implementation of this document, the access of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the $600 million Chinese citrus market was provided for the first time.

The second document is the protocol of health requirements for the export of Iranian honey to China. With this important agreement, from now on, high-quality Iranian honey producers will be able to send their products to the high-consuming Chinese market.
